A new Brother Knight

Quinn Baudouin is 18 years old, which makes him the youngest member of our council. He grew up in El Paso, Texas. The reason for becoming a Knight is internal achievement; in simpler terms, spiritual growth. His grandfather, who was an active member of the Knights of Columbus in his earlier years, was an example that influenced and encouraged him to follow in his footsteps. The pleasure of continuing his mission to help others whether it be in the parish, council, or the community is what he hopes to get out of his membership in Sacred Heart Council 8012. He is very hardworking, currently employed at a local pawn shop. You may be wondering what a young entrepreneur like him does in his spare time? He has a great love of fencing. Currently, he is a coach at Enguard Fencing Center. Prior to coaching, he competed on teams from the University of Florida and University of Texas-El Paso; which earned him the prestigious title of being the first high school student to compete at UF. If you attend the 9 a.m. or 11:30 a.m. Mass on Sundays, it is a good chance you may see him.
