Every year since 2009, the Knights of Columbus councils throughout the United States and Canada provide many kids with much needed coats. Last year 725 Councils distributed 32,500 coats to children in need. Although it does not get as cold in Florida as other parts of the country school aged children still require a coat of some kind whether it be a sweater or hoodie. Belleview Council 8012 is proud to be part of the Coats for Kids charity program in the Belleview and Summerfield areas. We were able to helpout 3 schools this year. We were able to pass out more then 200 coats to help these kids in need!!!!
