Grand Knight Message June

Worthy Knights and Ladies, I send this out with a heavy heart, for I only have one more month as your Grand Knight. I have very much enjoyed being Grand Knight of Sacred Heart Council 8012. It is not I that did the work, but Christ within me and all of us. Christ's presence within me is what gave me the strength and power that enabled me to work hard and do all things. Christ within us all makes us who we are and be able to do great things. When we remember this truth, we are free from any self-driven thought and we are able to give and receive the goodness of God. On the 18th of June, Father's Day, the Knights will be awarding Alter Servers of the Year. There are four young people being honored for their work serving our Lord. I hope there are be a good turnout at the 9am Mass and it is also our last membership drive weekend. I know most of you go to 5:30pm mass on Saturday, but this one weekend please come on Sunday. The Color Guard has stated that they will have two Knights in Full Regalia to help us honor the four youths. I experience life with a sense of wonder and awe. I invite joy to live in my heart and flow from me to others. That is something Fr. David said to me when I first became Grand Knight. I let Christ's Presence work in me and through me, and my life is filled with innumerable blessings. Christ has done that for me with the help of MY KNIGHTS AND LADIES. When I lost my little brother it was the knights that helped pull me through and I thank you. When I did great things as Grand Knight, it was Christ within me that helped me stay strong. And I am ever evolving to be better.

My God Bless You All

God Bless America

Your Grand Knight Larry Fusco
